We are a chain of automotive online retail start-ups and we are seeking a highly motivated intern who is interested in operations management, inventory management, and backend customer service (warranty, returns, and refunds). The ideal candidate is proficient in computers and has an understanding of how QuickBooks works. If you have prior knowledge in operations, inventory management and/or customer service via phone it is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have strong writing skills as you may be asked to communicate with customers and our affiliate businesses.

We are located in downtown Los Angeles in a small office. You will be working alongside young entrepreneurs and our awesome team! The team is highly motivated, smart, and likes to have a good time (and great food!). We appreciate outside of the box thinking, a strong work ethic, individuality, productivity and a good optimistic attitude.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Inputting customer sales orders and double-checking sales orders for accuracy.
- Shipping and handling all of our product sales orders
- Managing our inventory stock to ensure the accuracy of our inventory.
- Collect and analyze our sales trends to anticipate and create inventory reordering points and safety levels for individual products.
- Monitor inventory and compile purchase orders to restock our inventory.
- Receive, quality-control check, and restock inventory.
- Handle warranty issues and manage returns, testing and returning saleable products back to the inventory.
- Provide basic customer service for warranty and return issues once technical support has identified a course of action.
- Manage product packaging and shipping supplies as well as basic office supplies.
- Miscellaneous office administrative support.

Ideal (not required) candidate skills and experiences:
- Operations skills combined with a high level of personal initiative, responsibility, organization, and enthusiasm
- Experience with or knowledge of QuickBooks
- Basic understanding of the inventory management process
- Experience with high quality customer service
- Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills

Required candidate skills:
- An individual who is proactive, results oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and a day-to-day focus on bottom-line results.
