Offshore Maintenance Supervisor
Offshore North Sea 2on/3off rotation
£negotiable

This is a great opportunity to join a vastly expanding Oil and Gas operator. As an Offshore Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance operations associated with all hydrocarbon, utility and safe systems on the platform.


Duties and responsibilities:
Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with statutory regulations, Safety Management System and procedures
Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a cost effective manner and that safety critical maintenance is executed in a manner that secures fitness for purpose
Co-ordinate the planning and implementation of significant / major workscopes i.e. those that fall outside planned construction scopes
Monitor and control maintenance operations in order to maximise revenue and minimise expenditure ensuring that this is accomplished within the requirements of Legislative and Company requirements
Ensure that safety critical maintenance is effected and managed to secure the integrity of the installation, any defects being reported to the OIM
Monitor equipment and systems to ensure that the required performance is maintained or enhanced in order to secure the safety and/or commercial objectives of the asset
When required and suitably qualified and trained act as Radiation Protection Supervisor
Accept the responsibility of Area Authority for designated areas, systems and equipment ensuring the effective implementation of the Permit to Work System
Be accountable for the control of defined elements of the offshore Operations Department budget
Provide full logs and reports on handover and information on a shift by shift back to back basis to ensure the best flow of information and experience


The ideal candidate will have have a thorough understanding of offshore production and utility systems and appropriate project management experience. You will also be degree qualified (or equivalent) in related engineering discipline, with demonstrable operational experience in a similar role.

The Background

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Drilling Lead to work for a global leading Oil and Gas company. As a Process Drilling Lead you'll be responsible for the developing standard processes and procedures for wells design in major projects.
The Wells Engineering group in the Global Projects Organisation (GPO) develops well designs from initial well concepts through to full design definition for all major projects world-wide.


Responsibilities
o Undertake technical verification reviews at key stages in a project to verify that well designs conform to the standards and regulations required
o Undertake cross-project integrated reviews to ensure well design, and contracting plans are robust, costed appropriately, are deliverable, are optimised and integrate effectively with the subsurface goal and facilities designs.
o Develop & maintain verification review standards, design guidelines, standard documents & design processes associated with major development projects
o Support Common Process Manager in developing the organizational capacity and capability of the Common Process team
o Coach well delivery teams on wells design, standards and process requirements associated with major development projects
o Draw on experience and company networks to promote standardisation of designs and processes and share best practice between major projects
o Mentor and develop staff new to major projects work
o Actively promote and encourage a safe and compliant working culture


You'll:
As the Process Drilling Lead you'll ideally be educated to a degree level or will have gained the equivalent experience. You'll have a broad based knowledge and will have demonstrated experience of well engineering design, execution planning and operations in the context of major development projects. You'll have a strong knowledge of industry standards such as API. You'll also have experience in the design and delivery of safe and compliant wells and will have experience of undertaking technical peer reviews or audits.

Senior Geoscientist required for a leading oil and gas operator. The role, based in London, will be working on assets in the North Sea, UKCS and Africa. This opportunity is for a Senior Geoscientist to develop and evaluate prospects through interpretation of geological and geophysical data types. Working scale can be either regional or local depending on the need. The Geoscientist will play an integral role in a leading Geoscience team.


Role responsibilities:-
*Interpretation of Geophysical and Geological data.
*Prospect generation and evaluation.
*Planning/preparation of geological/geophysical work programmes.
*Identification and application of the best geoscience evaluation techniques.

Reservoir Engineer

 

Our Client has a new Production Optimisation Department that was created within their Operations organisation, focussing primarily on the optimisation of their existing assets. In this department, Reservoir Engineers and Production Engineers work together in assets teams, liaising closely with our Production Technology and Sub-surface Studies groups.


To strengthen their new department, our Client is looking for a Reservoir Engineer. The purpose of this job is to use your professional experience for optimisation of the company’s existing fields and contributing to development projects and exploration wells.


Key responsibilities and tasks


Reservoir and facility management (data acquisition and interpretation, field & facility system analysis and modelling, production forecasting, operations programmes).Opportunity identification for improving production and efficiency of the assets.Pro-active identification, engineering, and implementation of remedial measures to wells and facilities.Developing project proposals and contributing to obtaining approvals.Mentoring and supervising less experienced staff (for Senior positions).


Qualifications


Strong communication skills are essential, as well as a good command of the English language. North Sea experience is advantageous.


Specific requirements


Internationally recognised university education in Petroleum Engineering, Physics or other relevant degree (MSc). At least 2 years relevant experience, preferably with an Operator.Good working knowledge of reservoir engineering, primarily for the skill areas: reservoir management, data analysis and production forecasting, well reservoir engineering.Understanding of reservoir modelling, G&G aspects, petrophysics, well operations, production engineering, E&P economics.Ability to work effectively without direct supervision in formal and informal multi-disciplinary teams and under time pressure.Good written reporting skills.

Port Captain - AHTS Vessels

 Our client, a leading and fast growth Marine OSV operator now seeks an experienced Port Captain to join them in Tanajib, Saudi Arabia. You will work on rotation, two months on / two months off. The class of vessels that will operate out of this port consist of AHTS's, PSV's, Harbour Tug and and Flat Top Barges. Reporting directly to the Marine Manager and supervising sub contractors in the safe operation of vessel movements in port, in line with the requirements of the ISM code and ISO9001 standards. You must have a minimum of 3 years shore experience as a Port Captain on AHTS vessels, with the ability to jump to the vessel and assist the Master during AHTS operations and be able to run anchors yourself if needed. Must be a fully qualified Master with a minimum three years AHTS sailing experience and Saudi exposure would be preferred. DP1 experience not required but would be helpful. Due to Visa restrictions only Indian or Saudi nationals will be accepted for this role.
