Trophy of the Week Archive | Michael

Mike With Deer in Texas in Oilfield Camo
This week’s Oilfield Camo Trophy of the Week is definitely a West Texas Wall-Hanger to remember! For Michael, the weekend’s hunting trip was one of Firsts and Lasts, marking the end of the 2012-2013 deer season. But along with that, he and his crew came away with quite a haul!

Over the weekend, Mike was able to land his very first bow harvest of the season, bringing down this massive 11 point Texas Trophy Buck! Not to be outdone, his wife Ashley was also able to harvest a great-looking 8 point of her own! All in all, the crew was able to bag a total of four wall-worthy Texas Bucks! Now THAT is a way to wrap up the season! Congrats to Michael and his entire crew!

Trophy of the Week Archive | Andre

This week’s Trophy of the Week is a real holiday celebration, all the way from the DEEP south in Cypremort Point, Louisiana. Meaning “Dead Cypress” in French, Cypremort Point is a demanding hunting terrain, dominated by coastal marshlands. The region is known for not only its recreational camping and fishing, but for its hunting bounty as well. It was of great importance to the Chitimacha Native Americans that called the area home, and even served as one of the great landmarks of their tribal lands.

These rich hunting grounds were the destination of this week’s Trophy Winner, Andre. Visiting family over the Thanksgiving Holiday, Andre is currently a student at Louisiana State University. After enjoying a holiday dinner with his family, he set out to see if there were any deer to be had before nightfall. Andre made the trek and was surprised to have this great buck walk right out in front of him, not long before setting up in his stand. This great trophy was truly a reason for Andre to give thanks during this year’s holiday season.

Great Job Andre! If YOU would like to be featured as this week’s Trophy of the Week, simply send us a picture of you with your harvest, wearing your Oilfield Camo Gear! Just fill out the form below and you could win FREE Oilfield Camo Swag. KEEP DRILLING!!!

Casting charismatic and motivating telephone voices - $100 for 60mins (Los Angeles)

In the recordings you will be playing a really great friend who is calling someone close to them to motivate them to achieve a goal they are currently struggling with. For example, you could be calling them to get up in the morning and go to the gym OR encouraging them to leave their job to pursue their dream of becoming a novelist.

The important piece is that you should be ridiculously authentic, motivating and awesome to listen to over the phone. You should be inspiring but not cheesy. After hearing your voice, someone should feel confident, energized and encouraged.

If you're interested, please complete the survey form below. In it, we're going to ask you to make a 15- second recording of you motivating someone to get to the gym. We're doing this to hear your voice and determine whether you might be good fit for the project.

We look forward to hearing from you, and we appreciate your time. Additionally, we'll pay out $5 to anyone who makes a legitimate recording by 8pm, Saturday April 6th.

Trophy of the Week Archive | Cody

It’s that time of year, ladies and gentlemen. The time of year where the calls of migratory birds coming in from overhead is no longer a tease, but is a reason to get your heart pumping. This week’s trophy comes to you from the marshes of Louisiana, from our friend Cody who is an Oilfield Man himself. He and his hunting friends hit the fields in an attempt to hit their limit of specks. The details below are his own words on their opening day experience.

“We loaded our gear onto the 4 wheeler and headed to the blind. We got to the blind, unloaded the bike, and Mr. Craig took off to hide it as me and Jacob put out our decoy spread. Once we finished up, we all got in the blind and checked the time. It was 6 am, and shooting time was in 2 minutes. By the time we got situated and loaded up, it was time. I stood up to look around and heard the sound of my first flock of the season and they were coming towards us. I started calling and had them locked up. After a few passes, the group of about 10 specks was making their last pass over the blind and we cut loose dropping 4. I picked them up and the first bird to hit the dirt of the year had a band on it, and it was claimed by Mr. Craig. As soon as I got back in the blind another group was headed right our way. We worked them right in after just 2 passes and killed 3 out of the small group. That gave us 7 birds, 1 shy of our limit. Before I could get back in the blind, another group was already almost over the us. I hurried and jumped in and started calling. This time, it was a big group of about 20 birds, all calling and cutting up. Once they made that final approach, we turned Mr. E.P. loose to finish off the limit and he dropped one on the first shot. I checked the time and it was 6:13 AM, an 11 minute hunt. We didn’t even have time to enjoy our satsumas during the hunt!”

Congrats to Cody and the rest of the crew! Great Job, and be sure to pack your lucky Oilfield Camo every time! Do YOU have a great story and picture of your Oilfield Camo hunting experience? Send it in, you could win FREE Oilfield Camo Swag!
