A general knowledge of other Pressure Pumping product lines such as CT, Cementing and Acidizing would be beneficial.

My client are a major manufacturer in the oil and gas industry and have the requirement for a Project Services Manager due to winning new work. They have one 4 projects in offshore Africa that they want to deal with on a holistic basis rather than individually.


This role is responsible for all activities related to the project services functions that are required to meet contractual obligations and profit objectives. Ensuring that company project services policies and procedures are followed on assigned projects.


Supervises assigned members of the Project Services Team, such as the project
planner, cost analyst, risk analyst/manager and document controller.


Then principle responsibilities of the role include:


1. Provide effective leadership, development and training of assigned project services
personnel.


2.Establish a Project Services Team appropriate to meet the needs of the project
to cover planning /scheduling, cost control, document control, risk management and
such other functions as may be within the Project Services Manager’s assigned
areas of responsibility. Provide direction and guidance to the Project Services
Team and monitors all project control documentation, to ensure accuracy,
consistency and compliance within client and management requirements.


3.Participate in the preparation and presentation of proposals and manages those
parts related to Project Services.


4.Develop Client and Company project services policies and procedures, which are
appropriate for the project contractual arrangements. Prepare and maintain
Project Services Plans and ensures that they provide for the effective use of
company resources.


5.Develop the basic scheduling and progress measurement concepts in conjunction
with the Lead Project Planner. Identify and advise the Project Director of
potential schedule problems.


6.Define the document management requirements and initiate the document
management system in conjunction with the Document Controller.


7.Coordinates with the material management team and to set up the equipment and
bulk material identification and schedule needs in conjunction with the
Material Controller.


8.Establish the project procedure to be used for monitoring, trending, reporting
and predicting project costs. Advise the Project Director/Manager on corrective
actions against adverse cost trends. Responsible for the initial budget
distribution and the planning and production of all subsequent project control
and check estimates.


9. Establish an effective Management of Change procedure and ensure that it is

The Role:
The Integrity Engineer is responsible for providing support on integrity of fixed equipment to the UK Production Unit operating sites. The role involves close working with colleagues in Engineering, Operations and HSE to deliver company and regulatory objectives for the management of integrity of fixed equipment.


The Integrity Engineer will assist in the management of integrity of fixed equipment, including pressure systems (piping and vessels), tanks, structures and pipelines. The role is focussed on operational support, particularly failure investigations, repair specifications and Management of Change (MoC) activities.


The Integrity Engineer will be working alongside two Senior Integrity Engineers and an Inspection Management Contractor, with further technical support available from the functional team in Houston and external specialists.


The role will require close liaison with the Operations teams onshore and offshore and will require both planned and ad hoc attendance at the operating sites.


CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Review of inspection reports requiring remedial works and specification of repair or fabric maintenance activities, in consultation with senior colleagues as required, and technical progression of repair activities. This includes both permanent repairs, e.g. pipe spool replacement, and temporary repairs, e.g. wraps and clamps, in accordance with company policy on management of temporary repairs.
Review of fixed equipment failures and progression of failure investigations and root cause analyses, with support from internal or external specialists as necessary.
Specification and progression of fixed equipment Management of Change (MoC) projects in accordance with company MoC procedures.
Provision of general technical advice on integrity of fixed equipment to the operating sites.
Attendance at operating sites when first-hand review of equipment integrity issues is required.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Chartered Engineer or equivalent, or working towards chartership
Minimum Honours Degree, ideally Masters or Higher, in Mechanical/ Structural /Materials or similar discipline

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation & influencing skills

Preferred :

Planning Engineer - Oil & Gas

Our client, a multi discipline Engineering and Construction Company executing major EPC projects
for the region's major oil & gas operators, now needs a Planning Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Main duties will be; To develop the Work Breakdown Structure, based on the scope of work ; Using Primavera or MS Project, develop the detailed activities; To schedule all work packages, milestones and coded activities to roll up into the Project Level Schedule; To identify & monitor performance of the activities on the Critical & Near-Critical paths; To detail project budget by prime & subaccount; To monitor cost expended to date for each reporting period; To assemble monthly project status reports ; To estimate man hour & schedule requirements and to meet fixed project delivery budgets & schedules. Suitable candidates will be degree qualified, have a minimum ten years post graduate experience of which three years must have been gained on planning of Onshore Oil & Gas projects as a planning engineer. Only Indian nationals will be considered.
