We are a Los Angeles based architectural firm, seeking a Freelance Draftsperson with command of Revit and experience in putting Architectural drawing sets together for Single Family Residence projects in the City of Los Angeles.

The position has the opportunity to turn into a hired position, depending on our needs and the candidate's compatibility. The candidate can work in or out of the office. Out of the office arrangements will include successive meetings at our downtown office.

Compensation will be on a fixed fee/per project basis for the production of drawing sets.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Revit Architectural
- FAST and EFFICIENT
- 3+ years Experience in Architectural Drafting
- Ability to take schematic design and produce put a permit set without oversight.
- Experience with City of Los Angeles building dept. requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have good written and oral comprehension and expression. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while using a computer or speaking on the telephone. Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs- maintaining the office requires bending, lifting-carrying and stooping. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work in a well-lighted, temperature controlled work area. Must be able to work well with others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. College preferred.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Entry level, 1-2 years experience with telephone switchboard preferred. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

SKILLS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Ability to proactively look for ways to help people. Strong attention to details and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. Proficient in Microsoft Office - intermediate level at Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Publisher. Jonas software experience a plus.
