Senior Quality Manager

Matchtech are currently looking for an experienced quality Manager to a company that separation and processing oil and gas operators.

Position Summary:
In support of the Director of Quality Assurance control in leiden, & develop all quality quality control activities within the region & EACR

Main tasks:
-To seek improvement through the quality management system in all areas of the company
-Lead and develop the quality team
-Development of a culture of continuous improvement
-Adoption of a Lean Six Sigma methodology for problem solving at all levels of the organisation
-Setting up quality function resource should make justifications for execution of the project, and positions to fill in project plans.
-Setting and monitoring quality Kpis

Reports:

Director of Quality Assurance & Service Master Project.

Qualifications:

Requires: Degree qualified in an engineering discipline Preferred: as above with ISO 9001 IQA and lead Auditor status.

-Strong problem solving ability
-Excellent communication and management skills
-Familiar with critical production processes in the service of the company such as welding, materials, painting, etc.
-Commercial awareness.

Experience required: Experienced Quality Manager used to leading a team of engineers quality through a period of profound changes
Preferred experience: familiarity with en 13980 and ISO/TS 29001

Other factors:
-Fit and willing to travel in UK and overseas as required
-Understanding of commercial law and possible consequences

Project Coordinator-Afghanistan

You work for a U.s. international construction company that with the US Army Corps of Engineers supply construction projects across the country works. This is a challenging position that will test your project coordination and construction skills.

Main Objectives
Project coordinate construction projects including planning, estimating, procurement and construction operations ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, liaise with the client projects and manage the delivery of construction equipment and materials.
Ensure all documents and company procedures are maintained and up-to-date register.
Management reports and other required reporting agencies compile for Project Manager
Make sure all incidents/defects/product non-conformity of and contractor or customer complaints are reported to the Project Manager,
Local overseas employees and serves as a direct cooperation between workers and project manager.

Background/experience:
About 3 years of experience in the construction industry (positions in the construction and operation and maintenance)
* BS degree in construction management, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
* Ability to multi-task and coordinate with different team members (for example, site staff, subcontractors and Administration) building minimum 5 years experience in operational quarries in hard or extreme environments

Principal Piping engineer

Our Client requires a Principal Piping engineer for a permanent position in Manchester.
A detailed knowledge of international piping codes is essential along with awareness of national and international regulations on the oil, gas and chemical industry. An in-depth knowledge of materials, used in the industry including their selection criteria, properties, design borders and product as essential. Knowledge of welding and inspection techniques used in piping engineering for the different range of materials and service is required.
Main tasks & responsibilities
* Act as project proposal/Engineer on such projects/proposals that have been assigned by the Chief Engineer piping design to guide and carry out such projects.
* Show strong job control and organisation and a proven track record of delivering project implementation to the budget and program, affiliated with sound technical knowledge, are essential. responsibilities will include;-
* All pipes and engineering and design activities on assigned projects.
* Supervision of other engineers and designers and control and approval of their work.
* Planning of sufficient resources, monitoring progress and control of man-hour costs design use.
* Assist in prefectural administration work including preparation of corporate procedures, standards and specifications.
Person specification
Candidates must be skilled in the oil, gas and chemical industry with lead engineer knowledge.
A degree qualification is preferred with Charter engineer status or are working on, but this is not necessary
Candidates must be motivated with a desire to continually find ways to improve work practices.
