Cost Accounting Assistant (Santa Fe Springs )

Process subcontractor's payment and compliance
Gather supporting docs for completing time and materials billing
Update quantities, run projections, and compile supporting reports for weekly and monthly job cost reporting, etc.
Assist with administrative support, various projects, backup reception support etc.

Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting.
Must have experience in construction or cost accounting
Experience with Time and Materials is preferred
Experience with processing subcontractors payments is preferred
Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must have excellent communication and written skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook applications.
Ability to analyze data
Must be a team player.
Previous course work in accounting or working towards an accounting degree.
