By 2030, Canada’s output from the oil sands will reach about five million barrels a day, more than twice today’s output. Yet, by 2030, chances are also good that the world will have placed a price on carbon emissions to spur energy innovation and wean humanity off carbon-based fuels. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Work with the director to oversee the entire preschool operations and daily functions according to the school policies and procedures. Implement school mission and philosophy.
? Keep up with current ECE trends and development. Recommend changes to improve the program and review ongoing activities.
? Provide leadership, motivation, support and guidance to the staff (20+). Handle staff scheduling, evaluation, conflict-resolution, discipline and training. Recruit and hire new staff.
? Responsible for school admission process such as conduct school tours, interview prospective parents and students, and arrange classroom placement.
? Communication with parents. Support and maintain professional connection with parents association
? Team work and collaborate with other administrators
? Supervise office operation, tuition collection, bookkeeping, facility maintenance and material control.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? A Bachelor's degree (preferably in ECE or Child Development), with minimum 24 units in ECE/CD and 3 units in preschool Administration.
? Minimum 3 years of experience as a preschool director & 3 years of teaching experience.
? Strong communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal and organization skills.
? Self-motivated with constant drive to elevate the quality of the school.
? Up-to-date computer skills, especially in Word and Excel.
