Location: Company based in Aberdeen but easily commutable from Blackburn / Dyce / Westhill / Portlethen / Banchory / Cullerlie / Portlethen

Quality Controller required for one of the leading sunsea engineering companies, who design and manufacture innovative new subsea technology.
Experience required:
*Degree qualified
*Ability to read drawings using Pro/E, Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD
*The QC Engineer shall be computer literate
*Ability to organize and efficiently process information
*Attention to detail
*Team player
*Fast learner Understanding of basic oilfield manufacturing requirements (materials, processes, pressures, tolerances and certification)
*Experience in QC, Manufacturing processes, and the assembly/testing of oilfield equipment
*Familiar with Pressure testing, lifting operations and assembly workshop activities.
*Familiar with dimensional control equipment.
*Auditing skills
Ideally, you will have a degree from a red brick university and have experience within oilfield / oil & gas industries within a Quality control environment. You will also have some knowledge of high tolerance, pressure testing and assembly, You should be able to perform a variety of tasks QC, assembly, manufacturing, supplier control, material certification and internal auditing

You will be methodical and accurate with strong communication and problem solving skills. You will be self motivated and have the ability to prioritise and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.

Experience of programming Siemens S7 PLC's is essential, the role is 70% development work based in the office in Cork and 30% site based on site at a cutting edge manufacturing facility in Dublin engaged in deployment, installation, commissioning and site acceptance tests of the control systems.

The role is an initial 6 month contract duration with the possibility of extension or TTP for the right candidate.

The pay rate for this role is 33 to 42 per hour dependant upon experience and pay status.

Lead Pipeline Engineer - Offshore Oil & Gas

Our client, a leading Engineering and management contractor in the oil and gas industry, due to a new five year PMC project award now seeks a Lead Pipeline Engineer to join their PMC team in Abu Dhabi. The operator intends to embark on various projects, both onshore ( islands ) and offshore, to maintain existing facilities and enhance oil and gas production from it's main reservoir incorporating, Production, Water Injection, Observation, Gas Injection and Gas Lift Wells. The overall mission of the PMC team is to manage the EPC contractors deliverables through FEED to Construction, Commissioning and final Handover stage. In terms of the pipline content this would encompass, Pipeline materials selection, stress engineering and subsea pipeline design & engineering.
In addition you would also be responsible to assist PMC Project Manager ( as offhore prime ) on all project management issues related to the subsea pipeline and offshore facilities on the field.
Suitable candidates will need to be Degree qualified with a minimum of ten years post graduate experience with at least three years in a PMC/Consultants role. Preference will be given to those with previous Middle East experience.

Job purpose:
Required to assist in managing the daily performance and operation of Document Management Centre on ongoing project. This includes all DM activities required to meet the needs of the onshore and offshore operations within both the client's organisation and the Client.

Role and Responsibilities:
- To process both design and vendor documents in accordance with corporate or project procedures
- To process all documentation received in DM in accordance with prescribed matrices within agreed timescales.
- To allocate and control the numbering of documents and drawings produced on the project
- To accurately update information in both Client & the Client's electronic document management systems
- To perform supervisory duties, resolve procedural issues, assign work to more junior staff (as applicable) to achieve targets/milestones
- To assist in completing requests, searches and queries for any project personnel.
- Liaise with engineers, clients, suppliers or third party companies as required to complete DM function on project

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to Standard Grade level (pref to include Technical/Engineering, English, Science, Maths)
- Information Management or Librarian or Computer qualifications (desirable)
- Experienced in working in an engineering project group or document management centre
- Capable of processing both Design & Vendor project documents
- Experienced in use of electronic document management systems
- Good understanding of working to procedures and project deadlines
- Supervisory skills
- Good understanding of electronic file production/formats

They are looking for a front office business analyst to assist / consult on the implementation of their state of the art systems throughout London, the UK and Europe.

This role is very 'hands on' and it requires you to become an expert in the use of the software systems they implement and apply this knowledge at client site.
