The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Drilling Supervisor / Well Site Leader to work for a global leading Oil and Gas company. Drilling Supervisors act as a pivotal role in leading all activity, HSE, operations and logistics at the well site.

The Role
As the Drilling Supervisor, you'll be accountable for supervising offshore / onshore drilling, completion and workover operations at rig sites. Whilst the majority of the work will be offshore at the rig site, some time may also be required to undertake operations planning and reviews. You'll ensure that all well site drilling and completions activities are carried out in compliance with company practices along with appropriate legislative requirements. Additionally you'll drive continuous improvements through and will coach individuals to enhance their contributions to performance. You'll also monitor all wells personnel and materials movements to ensure that there are no delays.

You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree or HND level within a relevant discipline or you'll have the equivalent relevant experience within an Engineering role. You'll have enjoyed previous success in a Drilling Supervisor role and demonstrated competence in well design for drilling activities. You'll have experience with operation and safety program issues and you'll have had experience of working with third party providers. You'll be competent with landmark well engineering software packages such as DMIS/Openwells, Wellplan and will have previous experience of drilling for an operator. You'll ideally have an IWCF Well Control certificate.

* Specialising in pipe stress analysis and advising design team on arrangement and support requirement to work within code stress requirements.

Key aims and objectives

* To prepare, develop and maintain the full range of Piping Engineering Design deliverables to a high standard using Corporate Procedures / Software where applicable, Industry Codes and best practice. To achieve this on schedule and within budget.

Prime responsibilities and duties

* Preparation of Piping design deliverables, including studies, detail design deliverables and close out, as directed by the Principal and Senior Piping Engineers

* Participation in project design and safety reviews

Allied occasional duties

* Represent the Company at external functions, roll-outs and communication sessions such as graduate recruitment events.

Key internal interfaces

* CAD Draughtsmen / Designers

* Procurement

* All other engineering disciplines to ensure overall design quality, budget and schedule is met

* Ensure safety in design and construction by participation in Hazids, Hazops, TRA etc

Key external interfaces

* Liaise directly with customer single point of contact / Piping engineer on Piping aspects of the unit of work

As a Structural Designer you'll be required to use PDMS to draft and design large modules and top sides for offshore oil and gas platforms. You'll work with engineers and other designers to develop all associated drawings and documents. You'll take a hands on role in the design and will check structures.

You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree or HND level within a relevant discipline or you'll have the equivalent relevant experience within an Engineering role or related discipline. You'll have experience of PDMS and will have extensive experience of working in the offshore industry. You'll be able to model primary, secondary and tertiary steel, including intricate connections, tubular joints and equipment supports. Ideally you'll have experience of American and International steel sections.

In the role of CMMS Analyst, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the client's CMMS system, and its interfaces with cost, materials and planning groups in support of the maintenance function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the co-ordination and optimisation of spares listed against PMOs.
Configuration and preparation of system reports.
Capability in SQL/Toad and underlying data structure to enable data retrieval and preparation of ad hoc reports
Prepare, control and revise PMOs.
Assist in effective cost management of maintenance activities.
Liaise regularly with offshore end users to ensure effective use of the CMMS system
Carry out regular data checks to ensure compliance with data structure, correct and complete format with required level of history. Report findings regularly.
Maintain asset register and equipment hierarchies.
Monitoring, management and reporting of compliance.
Monitoring, management and reporting of backlog.
Rigorous CMMS change management.
Upload / download project modifications data and PMO revisions.
Manage, organise and deliver system training.

The ideal candidate will have a technical apprenticeship/HNC with adequate experience of working within a CMMS Analyst role, alternatively in lieu of formal qualifications you may offer an auditable track record of consistently high performance for a substantial period working with a CMMS. You will also ideally have experience of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry, with an understanding of Operations and Maintenance.
You will also have a good general knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools and processes, with a good understanding of maintenance strategies and their development.

The Wells Engineering group in the Global Projects Organisation (GPO) develops well designs from initial well concepts through to full design definition for all major projects world-wide.

Responsibilities
o Undertake technical verification reviews at key stages in a project to verify that well designs conform to the standards and regulations required
o Undertake cross-project integrated reviews to ensure well design, and contracting plans are robust, costed appropriately, are deliverable, are optimised and integrate effectively with the subsurface goal and facilities designs.
o Develop & maintain verification review standards, design guidelines, standard documents & design processes associated with major development projects
o Support Common Process Manager in developing the organizational capacity and capability of the Common Process team
o Coach well delivery teams on wells design, standards and process requirements associated with major development projects
o Draw on experience and company networks to promote standardisation of designs and processes and share best practice between major projects
o Mentor and develop staff new to major projects work

You'll:
As the Process Drilling Lead you'll ideally be educated to a degree level or will have gained the equivalent experience. You'll have a broad based knowledge and will have demonstrated experience of well engineering design, execution planning and operations in the context of major development projects. You'll have a strong knowledge of industry standards such as API. You'll also have experience in the design and delivery of safe and compliant wells and will have experience of undertaking technical peer reviews or audits.

PMC Project Manager - On & offshore projects

The client, a leading Engineering & Management contractor, due to a new five year PMC project award now need a highly experienced PMC Project Manager to head up the team in Abu Dhabi. The client operator intends to embark on various projects to maintain existing facilities and enhance oil/gas production from its main reservoir incorporating, producing, water injection, observation, gas injection and gas lift wells. The overall mission of the Program Management Consultant will be: -To manage feasibility/concept stages -To manage FEED stages -To manage the EPC contract -To manage any other contracts or associated activities for the project including but not limited to Value Engineering, HSE studies, Integrity studies, benchmarking Third Party Design Certification as necessary. Suitable candidates will be Degree qualified in an engineering discipline with a minimum twenty years post graduate experience in the oil & gas industry including ten years of Project Management experience on major oil and gas projects.
