The client, a leading Engineering & Management contractor, due to a new five year PMC project award now need a highly experienced PMC Project Manager to head up the team in Abu Dhabi. The client operator intends to embark on various projects to maintain existing facilities and enhance oil/gas production from its main reservoir incorporating, producing, water injection, observation, gas injection and gas lift wells. The overall mission of the Program Management Consultant will be: -To manage feasibility/concept stages -To manage FEED stages -To manage the EPC contract -To manage any other contracts or associated activities for the project including but not limited to Value Engineering, HSE studies, Integrity studies, benchmarking Third Party Design Certification as necessary. Suitable candidates will be Degree qualified in an engineering discipline with a minimum twenty years post graduate experience in the oil & gas industry including ten years of Project Management experience on major oil and gas projects. At least five years must have been served in a Consultants organisation with Middle East experience being essential.

Job Description and Qualifications

The specification, selection and design review of rotating machinery packages, in particular compressors, pumps and prime movers. The job requires technical knowledge of the equipment, the engineering of it into process plant and the management of suppliers.

Performing a Lead Machinery Engineer role for major projects and taking responsibility for the work of assigned Machinery Engineers.
Co-ordination of specialist design input to the design review process to ensure full integration of machinery into the plant design.
Input to global specifications and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chartered Engineer. Experience in technical supervision of junior staff and contract engineers.
Experience with acoustic design.
Site experience with erection and commissioning or maintenance and operation of machines.
Thorough understanding of the design, selection application and performance aspects of compressors and pumps and possible drive arrangements.
Familiar with the cycle of process plant activities from conceptual design to start up.
Good communication skills and an astute commercial awareness.
Good knowledge of machinery suppliers and their product ranges.
Good PC skills.

The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to work for a global leading Oil and Gas business. As a Business Analyst you'll provide business information to the operational and management teams to support performance management and decision making.
The Role
As the Business Analyst you'll regularly interact with operational teams to develop budgets and robust monthly forecast updates. You'll provide information and highlight key issues on a routine and adhoc basis to help manage costs. You'll analyse key variances from budget and previous month's forecast and communicate these effectively to Management. You'll also provide corporate reporting teams with understanding of costs and activity and will provide support to more junior members of the Business Analysis Team.
You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline or you'll have gained the equivalent experience within a Business Analyst position. You'll have a good working knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production businesses. Ideally you'll have had experience of working with Oracle 11i, ADI, and Maximo however this is not essential and training will be given as required.

Retail Area Manager

 KEY PURPOSE

The Retail Area Manager Afghanistan will be responsible for developing the Retail operations. This will be by various means including highlighting and suggesting improvements, maintaining customer relationships and rapport, contract management, managing retail outlet operations whilst ensuring that the companies strategic objectives are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Comply with, and meet the requirements of all contracts (i.e. NATO, UN and ISAF)
- Supervise and be responsible for ensuring that Company policies are correctly administered, where appropriate through delegation to outlet management
- Management and control of Company cash and stock Safeguarding the clients property and assets and the best interests of the Company Compliance with all relevant aspects of retail and employment law
- The procedures for the placing of stock orders, cash accounting, business reporting, and use of IT
- The fair and equitable treatment of all staff. Immediate notification/escalation of any unusual matters/occurrences to Senior Managers
- Safeguarding the well-being of all staff and customers in accordance with standard Health & Safety requirements, with particular relevance to the environment in which they operate
- Driving 'quality' in accordance with the Company's QMS standards. To maintain a professional relationship with the clients, customers, retail staff, and all Company colleagues
- To review monthly stock orders recommended by warehouse managers and submit monthly reports to head office
- To cover for the Retail Operations Manager during periods of leave or absence
- Any other reasonable duty or activity relevant to this position as directed by the Retail Operations Manager
- Effectively conduct Monthly Client Meetings to strengthen and maintain rapport, highlighting any areas for improvement within the business and to take any necessary remedial action.
- To effectively co-ordinate all outlet operations, conduct regular Area Manager Store Visit Audits and implement follow up to achieve desired outcome.
- Effectively conduct performance reviews
- Ensure all sales personnel adhere to company's policies and procedures
- Conduct all weekly and monthly administration such as Weekly Rosters, Action Plans, AM Store Visit Audits, Weekly reporting to management, ensuring all outlets are operating within Auditing requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated work experience in a similar position
- Must be an Italian Passport Holder due to Security requirements on the contract
- Project Management skills essential
- Minimum of three years supervisory / management experience within an International recognized Retail / Duty Free operation.
- Minimum of two years hands on warehouse & logistics operations experience
- Minimum of four years hands on financial & administration operations experience
- Experience in handling employee relations issues such as performance management, disciplinary actions, training & leadership etc
- In depth knowledge of the Retail industry would be an advantage but not essential.
- Good experience in business administration (business workflows, manufacturing or warehousing,
purchasing and order processing systems)
- Ability to close a sale
