Tryouts are done in 20 minute increments on Saturday, January 26, 2013. The 20 minute increments start at 10:00am and go until 3:00pm

Premiere Night Club Seeking Hostesses & Cocktail Servers (90802)

Must be available to start training by February 1st. Must work weekends and all holidays.

The Hostess is responsible for greeting all guests that enter the club and seating the guests in a timely fashion before the start of each show. The Hostess also assists the Night Manager any operational functions of the night.

Duties:
-Greet all guests that come to the club
-Seat guests in a strategic and timely manner
-Assist guests with questions relating to the show or the club
-Manage general and guest list lines prior to the shows
-Sign up guests on our email lists
-Monitor the audience in the show room
-Help management keep shows running on time
-Assist the cashier with phones during busy periods
-Reset the chairs and tables after each show
-Assist with any other duties assigned by the Night Manager

Desired Qualifications:
-3 to 5 years working in the hospitality industry
-Previous experience as a shift manager a plus
-Self-starter and go-getter attitude
-Cool and collected under high stress environments
-Friendly demeanor
-Great customer service skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Strong communication skills
-Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
-Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a high pressure environment
-Must be reliable, responsible, and honest
-California ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred

Duties:
-Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
-Take drink/food orders and inform guests of specialty drinks and specials
-Enter drinks/food into POS system & deliver them to customers
-Monitor and observe the experience of the guests, ensuring that they are pleased with the service
-Present checks to guests & accurately collect payment
-Bus glassware and clean sections
-Prep the bar area/showroom & maintain a clean service area
-Perform side work and duties requested by the night manager
-Be willing to assist other servers if necessary

Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 year experience cocktail serving in the same workplace
Must be able to work well in a high volume/high pressure environment
Must have extensive alcohol knowledge
Experience with Aloha POS system
Must be able to commit to working 4 nights a week & holidays
California ServSafe Food Handler Certification & previous Alcohol training is a PLUS
Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented & a self -starter
