Senior Flowline/Spools Engineer

Our client, a large subsea and pipelines contractor are searching for a Senior Flowline/Spools Engineer to join their team in Staines.

We are seeking a Senior Flowline/Spools Engineer to join the project team supporting subsea activities on Angolan developments.

The candidate will be working within an integrated team as part of BP Angola Block 31 Gas Export System project comprising flowline and subsea tie-ins to existing infrastructure.

The project activities will be split between Sunbury, Staines and Sutton working in the client or contractor offices in the short term. In addition there may be a requirement to travel within the UK and overseas depending on the role. Duration is likely to be at least 1 year.

Although not essential, there will be opportunities to work overseas, including Angola, in support of the procurement, fabrication and installation activities, planned from Q4 2012 through to Q1 2014.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

-Verifying compliance to Company's specifications and technical documentation
-Interface with client's own equipment, systems and pipeline engineering teams as required
-Co-ordination of verification processes for design, manufacture and qualification testing techniques to be employed
-Review of contractor/vendor design reports, drawings plus other documentation and verification of the proposed designs
-Review of flowline and spool design.
-Review of installation methods
-Understand testing strategies (FAT/EFAT/SIT) and installation requirements

Experience Required

The candidate should have experience encompassing the design, fabrication, installation of subsea flowline systems including reeled flowlines, flowline termination assemblies/pipeline end terminations, protection structures and rigid spools. Previous experience in a supervisory role for a client is preferable but not essential.

The candidate should have experience and knowledge in as many of the following as possible:
-Pipeline operation, integrity management & pigging requirements
-Pipeline detailed design including experience in using analytical software
-Tie - in and in - place analysis for connecting spools.
-Connector/clamp assemblies for offshore and subsea applications
-Detailed Design and operability of wye pieces.
-Familiar with Industry Standard Design Codes for Offshore pipelines, Marine Operations and Lifting
-Corrosion protection systems
-Material selection
-nterfaces with subsea architecture equipment, components & tooling
-SIT testing and site testing activities
-Interaction with installation vessels

Responsibilities

- Deliver consistent but appropriate cost management structures for major, complex projects.

Fully versed with Cost Control principles and techniques.
JD Edwards, Prism and SAP Experience

Manual Machinist

My client are looking to recruit a number of skilled manual machinists to work shifts in their manual milling and turning workshop.

The ideal candidate will be apprenticeship trained with experience of working within manual machining and they will be able to set up and operate the machines to work to fine tolerances.

The right candidate will be able to machine components from engineering drawings and schematics and will also be able to use the full range of measuring equipment and be capable of working under their own initiative.

Materials machined will include stainless steel, duplex and nickel alloys.

Assistant Project Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Accountable to the Project Manager for running profit & loss and financial forecasting.

What you'll be doing...
* Be the "technical sign off" for a group of 12 Reliability Engineers

* Be an integral part of the management of CBM contracts and business

What you'll need for this position...
* A key requirement of this role will be to have Vibration Analysis Level III certification compliant to BINDT CM GEN Appendix D PCN Certification Scheme.
* Engineering qualification to HNC/D or above (mechanical or electrical) and an electrical bias would be desired.
* O&G industry (upstream or downstream) desired, however experience or rotating equipment maintenance and condition monitoring within other process industries will be acceptable

SPS Hardware Engineer

Our client, a large Subsea and Pipeline contractor based in Staines are searching for a SPS hardware Engineer to join their team

Our client is seeking a SPS Operations Engineer to join the expanding project operations readiness team supporting subsea activities on BP Angola B31 PSVM .

The candidate will be working within the integrated team as part of an operations readiness team, following on into full operations support activities.

The project activities will be mainly based in Sunbury but will/may involve international travel to Angola for meetings with the in country operations team and possibly elsewhere for meetings with potential suppliers.

The initial phase of the contract will be for 6 months in the build up to first oil and then the team will transition into an operations support engineering role providing ongoing specialist engineering support for the subsea facilities for both ad-hoc urgent activities and for long term planned expansion and remedial activities.

Duration is likely to be for a minimum of 1 year.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

-Reviewing design and as-built documentation
-Support in preparation of operation and maintenance documentation including plans and procedures for the subsea equipment.
-Interface with client's own equipment, systems and pipeline engineering teams
-Provide support to the preparation of the 'call off' documentation for ongoing maintenance support contracts
-Development of assurance processes with the Company integrity management system
-Interface with the Clients operations team in Angola to develop shared learnings.

Experience Required

The position is for a subsea production systems engineer, preferably with deepwater development experience.

The candidate should ideally have around 10 years experience in the design, fabrication, installation and or operation and maintenance of subsea equipment including manifolds, trees, FTA's jumpers & spools

Required are experience and knowledge in some of the following:
?XT and wellhead design, drilling interfaces
