SAM DECKER - early to mid 60s - All American small town attractive, owner of a small town pet shop with his wife, Emma, for over 30 years. Gregarious, a bit gruff and cantankerous, but affable and, much to Emma's embarrassment can sometimes be very candid and outspoken.

EMMA DECKER - Sam's very lovable and loving wife of 34 years. Small town, down to earth charm, wise with a warm smile and a heart of gold.

MAYOR HARKIN - attractive, Sam's rival since childhood, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, heir to the town's wealthy family's fortune. Still carries a torch for Emma but has pretty much accepted that's one thing that all of his money and charm will never get him.

BELLA - Pretty, young woman, single, mid 20s to early 30s. Sweet, a bit gullible and innocent, seems to always pick the wrong man and have bad luck in the romance department.

HANK BILLINGSWORTH - attractive, early 30s, single, new in town, a nice guy, straight shooter, the kind of guy every mother would want their daughter to marry. He and Bella meet at the pet shop, but will it last?

ALEX - 8-10, innocent, a little bit secretive, lovable, somewhat shy, but opens up after frequenting the pet shop.

SONDRA - Alex's mother, attractive, early to mid 30s, solemn, withdrawn, somewhat strict with Alex, but for good reason, as we eventually discover.

JIM - Alex's father and Sondra's loving husband, attractive, fair minded and honest, working man type, carrying a lot of stress, a little depressed because he can't find work.

HARRY HARPER - late 50s, early 60s, local grocer, portly, balding, grouchy, no nonsense type.

MRS. MAPLE - 60s-70s, mysterious, hordes cats, keeps to herself, person of few words but can be very rude, mean, and venomous if you cross her.

SHERRIFF HOLT - 40s-50s - small town sheriff type, nice looking, friendly, honest face, level headed.

OLD MAN TYLER - 70s, lanky, unkempt, loner, spends his time feeding the birds in the park and arguing with the Sheriff.

REVEREND THOMAS (PREACHER) - Classic small town preacher type, nice looking, 40s-50s, lives by his principles.

We're growing and we're looking for an experienced QA Lead. Join a team that's deploying computer vision, image recognition, and augmented reality applications to drive process improvements. The QA Lead will be responsible for designing test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements. This position is for a technically inclined individual who thrives in a fast paced environment performing quality assurance testing, developing manual tests and/or automated scripts, and reporting product defects that ultimately improve quality and client satisfaction. Individual must possess a strong willingness to be responsible for hands-on Quality Assurance of the company's product line, including mobile, desktop and web platforms.

Primary Duties:

? Work closely with product designers, developers and DBAs at all stages of SLDC to promote quality
? Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
? Work closely with Project Manager and developers to understand the product roadmap and product specifications to help determine optimum test strategies
? Communicates effectively with management as key point of contact for all aspects of Quality Assurance
? Produces superbly well-written, detailed and reproducible bug reports with clearly outlined steps to reproduce
? Takes ownership on all reported issues in our issue tracker (JIRA) and supervises their progress until resolved
? Develops and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
? Executes regression, smoke, cross-browser, cross-platform, black box, and other testing methods to ensure quality for current and legacy applications
? Anticipates and validates that management, client and user expectations are met for all products
? Researches, documents, assesses, and facilitates resolution of software defects
? Responsible for establishing testing milestones and providing input into project plans
? Responsible for reviewing application requirements and project documentation and asking follow-up questions as needed in order to gain a full understanding of requirements
? Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on all tests cases, plans or other QA materials in SharePoint

Secondary Duties:
? May lead a small QA team, including providing direction and mentoring to junior QA team members
? Manages and coordinates with 3rd party testing houses
? Ensures testing team is following best practices and methodologies
? Develops and maintains automated test scripts where appropriate

Requisite Attributes:
? Impeccable written and oral communication skills
? Outstanding attention to detail
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Expert manual testing skills
? Strong understanding of software engineering and web development
? Ability to anticipate the end user's actions to develop tests cases for previously undiscovered scenarios

Requisite Experience:
? 5+ years' experience establishing and leading quality assurance testing efforts, including system, integration, black box, regression and performance testing
? 5+ years' experience leading software testing activities
? 3+ years' experience developing quality assurance plans
? Track record of successfully leading multiple, simultaneous small and large scale QA projects
? Experienced using and managing an issue tracker

Investment Analyst-Intern (Westwood, CA 90024)

Intern should have interest and experience in analyzing the major investment markets and stocks. Some experience in technical analysis is desirable. Our firm combines fundamental and technical chart analysis in searching for the best stocks, ETFs, and determining major trends of related markets. Intern will assist in researching and writing several advisory services for active traders and longer term investors. It is ideal for preparation for a career in investment management, especially for hedge funds.

The intern should have at least some experience investing and/or active trading, have familiarity with technical and fundamental analysis and have excellent writing skills. Experience with computer charting programs such as E-signal, Stockcharts, TC2000, Tradestation is desirable.
