QA / QC Manager

Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager - Afghan
KEY PURPOSE
As the QA / QC Manager you will be working for a US international construction company that works with the US Army Corps of Engineers delivery construction projects across Afghanistan. This is a challenging position which will test your QA / QC management and construction skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
QA / QC Manager will be responsible for monitoring the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
Control and the distribution of all the companies' quality documentation
Monitor all quality related activities on the project
Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management
Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
Ensure all documents and company procedures are maintained and records up to date.
Compile management reports for Project Manager and other required reporting agencies

QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in construction management, engineering or related field, or comparable work experience


EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
Approximately 10 + years of experience, including substantial work developing and maintaining Quality Control standards


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Substantial experience interfacing with clients (experience with US military and Army Corps of Engineers preferred)

Debt Collector

 Debt collectors required to work in the Cardiff and Swansea area. You will be required to make arranged collections from Domestic and commercial property. You will be supplied with a company vehicle and will be given training on using a hand held unit and paid an hourly rate of £10.17.

KEY PURPOSE
As the Health & Safety Manager you will be working for a US international construction company that works with the US Army Corps of Engineers delivery construction projects across Afghanistan. This is a challenging position which will test your QA / QC management and construction skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for monitoring the companies HSE process on site
To be able to provide Safety Plans and risk assessments.
Attending of PRECON Meeting and any other Meeting as requested by client in any locations
Controlling of all site Safety from office and enforce SSHO for better safe work and following of safety regulations.
Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently with a multitude of task.
To safeguard the organisation from internal as well as external threats (the prime responsibility of a safety manager).
To initiate, coordinate and manage all the safety related tasks within the organisation.
To allocate tasks to the safety department staff and monitor their work. Safety manager also plays a role in recruitment of new safety staff and has to ensure that proper training is given to new recruits and that they are equipped with all the to be followed in the organisation.
To undertake various security related checks and correct the drawbacks, if any.
Issue guidelines and directives to the staff on a regular basis and ensure that the guidelines and rules are properly followed. To make the staff knowledgeable about useful

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental Health .


EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
Working knowledge of the Health, Safety & Environment field - ideally within the US or with US Military.
Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation, and legal procedures
Experience of enforcing Health and Safety legislation, conducting premises inspections
and auditing to determine compliance with legislative requirements
Experience of investigating work related accidents, ill health reports, in a commercial
environment.

Main Objectives
Manage project team, Project manage construction jobs, veterinarian and to recruit local workers, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, liaise with the client on projects and manage the delivery of construction equipment and materials.

Main tasks:
Delegate functional activities to project team, employees and notes schedules and responsibilities should provide continuous quality and timeliness of independent decisions and work on the Project to ensure the safety of workers.
Ensure all documents and company procedures are maintained and up-to-date register.
Management reports to compile projects Construction Manager and other required reporting agencies
Make sure all incidents/defects/product non-conformity of and contractor or customer complaints are reported to the Project Manager,
Local overseas employees and serves as a direct cooperation between workers and project manager.

Background/experience:
10 + years of construction management experience, particularly operations and maintenance, and U.S. Government experience (preferably with the US Army Corps of Engineers or the u.s. Air Force)
* Experience and skills in subcontracting management, planning, resource allocation, budget/contract administration and business development
* Effective oral/written communications, and excellent computer skills
* International work experience is a plus
