JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide assistance to Assisted Living / dementia residents.
? Provide direct resident care as needed (bathing, dressing, toileting, escorting, grooming, transfer)
? Provide reminders and assist residents in program activities, outings and meals.
? Provide supervision, housekeeping , laundry services as needed

Duties will include but are not limited to:
? Understand and practice the mission, principals and values of the community
? Assist residents to maximize their independence in all areas of care, support, communication, as well as physical and intellectual activity.
? Implements care in accordance with the care plan outlined by the manager and family.
? Reports changes in resident's condition, attitude, appearance, behavior and physical ability.
? Participates in quality assurance and customer satisfaction efforts.
? Provides for a safe and sanitary environment.
Candidates of choice will have the following skills:
? High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
? At least one year of caregiver experience working with individuals who have Alzheimer's or dementia; certified Nursing Assistant a plus.
? Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
? Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
? Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance and reliable transportation.
? Must clear criminal background check, physical and drug screening.
Shifts: Vary including evenings and weekends
