I am prepared to offer the right candidate either of the above OR perhaps BOTH should he or she be a Rock Star. I am REAL and you should take this posting extremely serious, because unlike the other 99.3% of the posters here on C.L., the individual who posted this ad is liquid enough and willing enough to write you a $400,000 dollar check as a sign on bonus!
Me: I am the Manager and General Partner of a Boutique Hedge Fund, and I place a HUGE value on brokers and advisors who can bring in capital. Perhaps more value than anyone else in the capital management space. I am seeking stock brokers, financial planners, and investment advisors to come work for the the fund, or passively direct capital to the fund. Only those candidates that have the ability to bring in capital will be considered. I don't place a great deal of importance on pedigree, I do however demand performance, and only those with EXISTING BOOKS of business that can be immediately migrated are of interest to me.
You: Ideally you are managing a book of business between 2mm and 20mm dollars, and can convert a good portion of your AUM into the Hedge Fund.
