Senior Petrophysicist

My client requires a Senior Petrophysicist to provide expertise in log and core analyses, formation pressure and fluid contact evaluations, petrophysical input to reservoir modelling studies, and lithology. This is an opportunity for a strong Petrophysicist to join a growing Geoscience team of a leading operator based in London working on west African and North Sea assets.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:-
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in physics, geology or petroleum technology
- Minimum 5 years experience in oil and gas industry
High-level understanding and practical experience from one or more of the following technical areas:
-Wireline and MWD/LWD-logging
-Core analyses integrated with petrophysical modelling
-Acustic and resistivity modelling
-Use of petrophysical softwares (Interactive Petrophysics or similar)
-Data loading and data base handling (ODM3 or similar)
