Safety & Risk Engineer

Safety & Risk Engineer - Warrington


Based in Warrington, our client has immediate requirements for Safety & Risk Engineers at various levels, on both a permanent and contract basis.


The successful Safety & Risk Engineer MUST have a degree or equivalent in an Engineering/Scientific subject (ideally Process/Chemical Engineering), and at least five years experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or associated industries.


The Safety & Risk Engineer should have knowledge and understanding of the following techniques;


• Safety Studies
• HAZOP/SIL/LOPA/HAZID
• Bowtie Analysis
• Fire & Explosion
• Consequence Modelling
• QRA


Projects will be primarily Oil & Gas related, including Petrochemical, but may include additional sectors. At times some international travel will be required, and duties will involve working on;


• Development of Safety Cases
• Process Safety and Training
• Structural Integrity Assessment
• Involvement in Business Development
