Long standing Restaurant/Bar in Pasadena is looking for a quality individual who is creative, professional, intelligent, energetic, willing and capable of learning all that is necessary to be the best BARTENDER, COCKTAIL SERVER OR WAITSTAFF in town. Looking for someone with a proven track record, who can accept the public accolades and can create a new concept and dining experience. You must meet the following minimum requirements:

-Must be creative, inventive and think in extraordinary ways
-Must understand the business side of the business
-KNOW YOUR DRINKS AND FOOD
-Must never accept sub-standard quality in anything
-Must excel at cross and up selling
-Must be available to work any shift necessary during the week and weekends
-Must be available to work during holidays as business dictates
-Must be charming, patient, hospitable and empathetic with employees and customers
-Must be able to work well under pressure
-Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time
-Know food, liquor menus as they exist
-Minimum of 2 years previous bartending or food service progressive restaurant experience!!!
-Excel beyond the norm at quality product, presentation and execution
-Knowledge of various POS systems a plus, especially Aloha
-Must be capable of creating, costing and aid in pricing beverage menus
-Must be a leader and motivator
-TIPS or LEAD and/or have a current CA Food Handlers certified a must
-Able to think logically on your feet
-Have full understanding of the standards of the L.A. County Dept. of Health inspections
-Ability to assist in meetings and work well with all levels of management
-Can work with GM to cost, price, sell and operationally execute special events
