Cost Estimator Major Oil and Gas operator seeks a Cost Estimator to join their team in Houston, TX. SUMMARY The Cost Estimator will generate the estimates for the project's base case scenario, as well as the alternate scenarios which will be developed during the Appraise and Select Stages, and will update the estimate(s) as the project moves through the subsequent CVP stages. The estimator will perform its duties in accordance with the client's cost estimating procedures. In addition to developing and maintaining the project estimate, the estimator is responsible for the benchmarking efforts for the project, to benchmark the project's estimates against other industry projects.

Upstream experience, especially in offshore subsea and / or drilling rig construction is a plus. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: ?Extensive background in cost reporting and analysis. ?Must be detailed oriented and accurate. ?Must be able to effectively perform multiple complex tasks.

?Must have high standard of business ethics. ?Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; both oral and written. ?Must work well under pressure. ?Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, and able to learn specialized software quickly.
