Pacific Park? on the Santa Monica Pier is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Loss Prevention Investigator.

This position observes and monitors both closed circuit television system and employees to detect and reduce theft in the Park, Maintains communication with department managers and supervisor, have the ability to put a case together.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent and two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Experience Requirements:
One to two years of training and /or experience in loss prevention or undercover work.
Must be able to count large amounts of money accurately.
Must be able to be comfortable speaking in public
Must be detailed and organized

Skills:
Computer skills and knowledge of word processing software, excel and outlook

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical Actions:
Required job duties require work consisting of walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying 25lbs.

Physical Environment:
Required job duties are generally performed in outside weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
? Monitors closed circuit television system.

? Visually observes employees and customers in the Park.

? Investigates incidents involving theft.

? Writes reports regarding observations.

? Conduct cash audits on registers

This position is Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekdays, weekends, flex and holidays required
