Electrical Rig Up Technician - Warren Equipment Company - Oklahoma City, OK

SUMMARY
Electrical/Mechanical fabrication and rig up by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge on wiring batteries, alternators and starters.
Has electrical knowledge of components for control panels.
Willing to learn and follow written and verbal instructions.
Has the ability to run tubing and screw piping.
Has the ability to make suggestions on basic problem solving.
Knowledge of package assembly for oilfield type equipment
Has the ability to perform engine alignment with driven equipment.
Has the ability to read blueprint and perform basic skid layout functions for assembly
Has the ability to assemble sheaves and bushings with proper belt sizes.
Operates all assembly tooling independently with no supervision
Operate forklifts
Must have electrical and mechanical tooling

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years engine experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid drivers' license and good driving record.
