Telecom Technician/Installer

The purpose of this position is to assure that JWS Communications, Inc. can consistently deliver on our promise to provide expert Installation and service to our business clients.
We will gain our clients' trust by:
Understanding our clients' technology needs by better understanding their business
Recommending a technology plan, and then implementing it
Setting and then meeting or exceeding client expectations
Being there when our clients need us
Introducing our clients to new ideas to help them achieve their objectives
Providing expert technical support

Systems,
Nortel BCM, MICS,CICS, Call Pilot, Avaya I.P Office, Partner ACS, VOIP, Nurse-Call, Public Address, Data/voice wiring installation.

*Minimum 5 years experience in trade
*Must have basic hand tools, power tools and test equipment

*knowledge of networking (i.e.) TCP/IP, NAT, DHCP, VPN
*knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 Operating Systems
*knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
*knowledge of configuring Microsoft Outlook -- RPC over HTTP, POP/IMAP
*knowledge of DNS and Domain Name management
*knowledge of implementing and configuring business class networks
*knowledge of setting up and configuring wireless networks
*Knowledge of setting up and configuring printers in a network environment
*Knowledge of installing and configuring Enterprise level antivirus software
*Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time
*Ability to work with team members and provide leadership on projects
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Expert-level technical experience with Microsoft Networks in a business environment
