Planner

An excellent opportunity for a Planner with experience in the oil and gas industry to join a leading engineering service provider in the offshore market.

Roles / Responsibilities:

The Onshore Planner is responsible for organising and overseeing the following activities:

* Planning, and coordinating of offshore asset activities to ensure optimum utilisation of equipment and personnel.
* Ensuring all necessary resources are available when required and in accordance with company business needs and objectives.
* Ensure the Tollgate system is complied to and effectively implemented as per the BHPB tollgate process, liaising with the onshore Production services team.
* Co-ordinate with third parties , vendors ,onshore discipline Engineers as appropriate in support of the planning process
* Understanding and comply with Installation safety Case and relevant statutory & legislative requirements.
* Reviewing installation performance against key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Safeguarding the reliability, availability and "fit for purpose" operational conditions of platform equipment.
* Understanding the onshore developed 90 day work plan and facilitating efficiently, planning the work safely and on time.
* Plan, prioritise and co-ordinate all asset based activities to ensure that production plans and targets are met safely and effectively.
* Pre-plan maintenance tasks for opportune asset shutdown periods (BCI Runs etc).
* Support and contribute to shutdown planning and execution
* Support 1 SAP maintenance reviews, maintain 1 SAP systems as maintenance specialist authority
* Support Asset Engineers to achieve legislative compliance

Experience:

* Understand the assets Safe systems of work and associated processes.
* Proven computer system experience and literacy.
* Conversant with 1SAP maintenance systems.
* Appreciation of 1SAP maintenance categories relating to safety and business critical equipment.
* Understanding of operational procedures, documents and drawings
* Communication skills such as report writing and presentation.
* Experience in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical production, maintenance or engineering
* Experience in operations and maintenance planning.
* Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organisation
* Proactive and positive approach
* Ability to analyse and trend data to troubleshoot and provide continuous improvement
* Substantial experience in the offshore environment.
* Leadership & Flexibility.
