Toolmaker

My client a market leading manufacturer of spring fasteners is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join them at their facility near Bristol. Previous and proven Tool making experience is essential.

Key Experience

-To have previously refurbished damaged/worn tooling
-To have manufactured tooling & fixtures are specified by production
-To have manufactured tooling & fixtures for use in prototype products
-To have had input into the design & manufacture of new and existing tooling

Key Responsibilities

-To install and prove out new press tools
-To manufacture tooling, tool holders and machined parts as required
-To be an active member of tooling projects and report on progress main to engineering management
-To be an active member in process improvement activities
