Quality Engineer

My client is a blue chip company based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire are a market leader in technical solutions for & oil gas drilling sectors.
Thanks to the continuous growth they are currently recruiting a technician quality.

As a technician quality will make your tasks as follows:
To examine product quality problems-and suggest corrective and preventive measures should be taken.
-To check the material discrepancy report (DMR) process, i.e. that DMR is activated by all parties in a timely manner;
-Check and maintenance of reports from suppliers and ensuring corrective/DMR activity is preventive action effective.
-Provide back to the inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies. Contacts and sub contract measurement supervision where necessary.

Qualifications & skills
-You will be served a pupil, a HNC or HND and keep quality control/experience.
-Experience of CMM is preferred
-Must be computer literate, able to generate reports from Excel etc.
-Be able to work with minimal supervision and can communicate well with engineers and suppliers.
-Work on which materials suppliers and discrepant people to prevent future recurrence hunt.
Must be PC literate-to produce excel reports and communicate well with engineers and suppliers
