Ocean Rig specializes in providing experienced offshore drilling capacity in ultra-deep water and harsh weather conditions. The Company own and operate two of the world’s largest technologically advanced semi-submersible rigs and four 6th Generation Drillships. We currently have a further four 7th Generation Drillships under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries in Korea and these shall be operational in 2013 and 2015.This rapid growth and global expansion creates a number of exciting opportunities for individuals who wish to build their career in the international deep-water drilling industry, so we are now searching for an experienced offshore recruiter to join our Global Recruitment TeamThe Recruiter, as part of the global recruitment team is responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process for mainly offshore positions from the Houston office of Ocean Rig. This includes candidate attraction, sourcing and liaising with agencies, interviewing, reference checking, issuing of offers and contractual documentation.Key responsibilities: Provide support and advice to Hiring Managers on all recruitment related activities and HR best practiceManage the end to end recruitment process for all offshore disciplinesConduct searches in order to source suitable candidatesAdvertise on various online job boards and mediums in order to attract suitable candidatesPromote Ocean Rig as an employer of choiceConduct telephone screenings for applicants who meet the position requirementsUpdate recruitment database and vacancy spreadsheet on a daily basisReview and forward suitable CV's to Hiring ManagersOrganise, coordinate and participate in interviewsEnsure best use of recruitment budget and resourcesLiaise with global recruitment team on a regular basisProvide feedback to all applicants and candidates in a timely mannerCollate all relevant certificates from successful candidatesProcess offer paperwork in accordance with company policy and procesuresProvide weekly recruitment report and statisticsRemain up to date with current US Employment Legislation and Labor Laws and ensure all relevant changes are implemented
