RSS is looking for a Database Developer to join our growing Software Engineering team.

Desired Education, Work Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• At least 1-3 years of working experience in Database Development
• Object-Oriented, Event-Based Software Design Exposure
• Understands Client/Server Applications or Distributed Application Architecture
• Basic knowledge of high level programming languages such as C/C++/C#
• Windows Operating System Fundamentals, Command Shell, Power Shell
• Server Hardware, Network, File System
• SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 Management Studio
• SQL Server Profiler, BCP, SQLCMD Tools
• Programming Transact-SQL Scripts, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions
• Query Optimization and Performance Tuning experience a plus
• SQL Server Installation, Configuration and Settings
• Import/Export SQL Data into Different File Formats
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Design DTS/SSIS Packages is a plus, as well
• Database Table Design, Proper Indexing
• Data Modeling using ERWin is desirable
• Exposure to SSRS and SSAS
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
• Proactive and Detail-Oriented

Experience with or desire to learn one or more of the following technologies:
• XAML
• Silverlight
• ASP.NET
• AJAX
• WPF, WCF
