ABI is looking to add a Senior Level Field Engineer to its growing team. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to complete computing-focused installation and troubleshooting jobs at our customers sites. Additional responsibilities will include remote troubleshooting, hardware system builds and network design. The position offers the opportunity to be a leader in our fast growing IT Field organization and to help shape the future growth and development of ABI.

Minimum Experience Requirements for Applicant
Field technician configuring/troubleshooting 50 user Microsoft networks
Installing/troubleshooting MS Windows Server 2000/03/08/12
Installing/troubleshooting MS Windows Small Business Server 2000/03/08/11
Installing/troubleshooting MS Exchange 2000/03/07/2010
Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery [LiveState]
Symantec Endpoint Protection v.11 - 12
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP (Subnetting, TCP and UDP ports)
Strong Knowledge of public DNS/WEB/FTP services
Configuring and troubleshooting Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7,Windows 8
Extensive PC / Server hardware troubleshooting and assembly experience
Configuring and troubleshooting VPN connections [IPSEC, PPTP, PPP, Site2site]
Configuring and troubleshooting Router / Firewall
(WatchGuard/Netopia/Linux/MS RAS/SonicWALL/Cisco ASA)
Configuring and troubleshooting wireless Linksys and 3COM products

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute computer / server / network
Troubleshooting issues on/off site with customers
Build computer workstations and servers
Perform system maintenance at customer sites

Technical Requirements

Strong proficiency in the following:
Microsoft Server 2000/2003/2008/2012
MS Exchange 2000/2003/2010Symantec Endpoint Protection
Strong Knowledge of public DNS/WEB/FTP services
Microsoft operating systems (e.g., 2000, NT, XP, Vista,7, and 8

2. Linux Red Hat

3. MAC OS X Tiger,Leopard,SnowLeopard,Lion,Mountain Lion

4. VMWARE,Citrix XEN, and Hyper-V

Microsoft Office application suite
Computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting
VPN (PPTP/IPSec)
TCP/IP Networks
Routers (e.g., WatchGuard, Linksys, Netopia, Sonicwall,Cisco ASA)
Iphone/Andrioid/Blackberry/Windows phone 7 and 8

A technology associate degree is preferred plus seven (7) years of relevant field experience

Ten (10) years of relevant field experience Strong sales support, service and organizational skills

Ability to work irregular schedules.

CCNA and Microsoft Certification required
