We currently are experiencing new growth with incredible opportunities in the Los Angeles to Orange County area for General Manager / Foodservice Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a culinary professional with experience in event and residential feeding and catering. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of the operation in which you manage within the guidelines established by the client organization and Guckenheimer. You will align their own beliefs, skills, and management style to embrace our standards resulting in being the most progressive, innovative and professionally driven leader of quality in the restaurant industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities are:
Develop and/or assist in the development of attractive menus meeting the needs and special dietary requirements of the customers and standards of Guckenheimer.
Achieve the highest standards in food, utilizing recipes and programs included in the Creativity Program.
Forecast and plan operating needs for food and supplies
Order, receive, and inventory of all products and supplies
Supervise food production
Ensure proper merchandising of food and facilities
Maintain service standards
Maintain safe and sanitary conditions and environment for employees and customers
Establish effective communication channels with customers and client management
Train employees
Maintain a cost effective schedule of employees
Counsel and discipline employees
Conduct performance appraisals
Conduct employee meetings
Complete and report payroll
Prepare, control, monitor and maintain unit operating budgets and financial records
Maintain accurate and timely accounting processes
Maintain records for compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
