ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MANAGER - Gulf Copper Dry Dock and Rig Repair - United States

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Keeps abreast of health and safety strategies for the company and facility, ensuring compliance by all staff under his control.
2. Organizes, plans, coordinates, directs and controls the profit and loss margin of Gulf Copper’s Environmental Services business unit.
3. Plans and coordinates sales, staffing, purchasing and logistics, to ensure projects meet cost and customer expectations.
4. Manages labor to meet utilization objective and focuses on labor relations, OSHA, workers’ compensation regulations/laws and maintains accurate tracking of labor costs and materials, identifies and reduces waste (e.g. material, time, equipment, etc.)
5. Formulates, develops, implements and measures market strategies, penetration and business goals and objectives.
6. Ensures compliance with Company Mission Statement.
7. Develops key performance indicators (KPI) for the business unit and each project individually, monitors KPIs and adjusts management policies and procedures as necessary to improve KPI.
8. Ensures/enforces OSHA, EPA, and Health and Safety standards/regulations compliance.
9. Ensures quality of environmental services meets or exceeds specified quality.
10. Monitors and ensures cost effective production environmental services, always focusing on cost control measures and practices to minimize waste of resources.
11. Performs other duties and services to ensure successful projects are delivered and clients are satisfied.
12. Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.

Required Experience:
1. 5 years experience in management in a related industry is preferred.
2. Experience in the marine industry, including storage vessel entry, purging and cleaning, barge and tank cleaning, decontamination, etc. is strongly preferred.
3. OSHA 30 hour training

Working Conditions:
1. Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and / or rainy weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
