We are a startup company looking for a Law Student Intern to assist us with in-house legal work. Come join us on our mission to make a difference through providing educational content to consumers on the law. This internship would give you the chance to meet some great people and get hands on experience with researching competitors in the legal industry, ecommerce law, copyright issues, and gain exposure to educational video editing and production on various law topics.

This internship is in compliance with federal regulations as you will receive training similar to a vocational context, for your benefit; you are not displacing a paid position; we are not deriving an immediate advantage and may be impeded by having you as an intern; you are not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the training period; and we are informing you that you are not entitled to wages for the time spent in training. This position will begin as an internship and has the capacity to build into a paying job after 3 months, which could include residual income from the company.

Responsibilities:

? Researching attorneys with a presence on the web, particularly those who have posted educational videos on the law.
? In-house copyright compliance analysis.
? Numerous other in-house issues, including, but certainly not limited to: business formation, taxation, confidentiality, contracts, and whatever else may arise in the course of your internship.
? Required self-motivation and passion.
? Compliance with your school's internship requirements.

? Direct experience drafting contracts, analyzing substantive areas of the law, and generally applying the skills you have learned in law school to real world legal issues.
