Los Angeles | Client Site | Long Term | Contract

Are you an experienced web analyst who loves designing and implementing application systems and tools? Love working on all phases of application software development? Enjoy supporting clients? Then read on!

We're looking for a Senior Web Analyst to tackle all of the above for a leading healthcare company. During this six month contract you'll work at their medical facility and receive benefits and overtime! (And occasionally travel. . .)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
?Conduct sophisticated statistical analysis of data, identify or create programming tools and technical solutions to address business issues and design sophisticated databases, queries and reports with no supervision. Analyze data to form conclusions and make recommendations and perform comparative analysis of different analytic tools.
?Provide data analysis guidance for other analysts. Review, coach and refine work of other analysts.
?Identify key metrics to monitor over time. Employs advanced quantitative and statistical methods to analyze data. Distributes reports and summaries of findings to key stakeholder.
?Serves as a problem solving resource to project team. Works with stakeholder group to conduct cost/benefit analysis of proposed changes.
?Work with clients to define databases and web intake.
?Develop databases and websites. Test databases and websites.
?Manage applications and application demonstration.

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED
?Previous experience in all phase of application software development and maintenance life cycles in a large mainframe or client service environment preferred.
?Experience in PERL and CGI.
?Development experience with Oracle DBMS preferred.
?Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent experience.
?Thorough knowledge of HTML.
?Proficient in C, C++, and/or JAVA.
?Proficiency required in one or more high level programming languages respective to various client server platforms.
?Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.
?Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
