Direct response company is seeking a temp to perm Video Art Director Reports to:VP, Product Development& Production SUMMARY: Design and create all on-screen motion graphics for video produced by the Company.Responsible for the overall look and feel of all video materials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Conceptualize, research and developmotion graphics for video, including, but not limited to Television Commercials (both long form and short form), Web Pages, Online Products, and Social networking content
2. Collaborate closely with Production team to create effective advertising and marketing pieces which communicate messaging through video 3. Effectively communicate complex marketing ideas and concepts in video

4. Conceptualize, design and supervise production of any effect shots for video

5. Execute overall visual language in accordance with the appropriate brand identity

6. Stay current on current motion graphics trends and techniques, especially as they relate to the Company's product lines

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Hire and manage additional motion graphic artists when needed.

2. Assist other departments as requested or assigned.

3. Perform related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. College degree, or equivalent, preferred.

2. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

3. Minimum 3 years of on-screen motion graphicexperience

4. Extremely proficient in Final Cut, Photoshop, and After Effects with basic knowledge of Expressions 5. Meticulous with design details and quality

6. Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment
