Westat is currently seeking motivated, experienced individuals with a commitment to excellence to supervise interviewers for an important study conducted for the U.S. Department of Energy countrywide. Supervisors will oversee 15-20 interviewers in their assigned region.

Other duties include:

Monitor interviewer production, data quality, and costs via automated reports and weekly conference calls; Respond to interviewers' questions and concerns; Reassign cases as needed so that every case is worked to its full potential; Respond to field interviewers' questions and concerns; Monitor field interviewers' paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy; Follow project quality control procedures accurately to ensure that each interviewer's work meets or exceeds project standards; andCommunicate with the field manager and the home office about production and other field issues with interviewers.

Candidates must:

Be available to work 40 hours per week and attend mandatory out-of-town paid trainings in early March and early April; Have strong management skills and at least 1 year of previous experience as a field supervisor; Have a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred); andPossess strong computer skills, particularly with email and the Internet.

U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon receipt of acceptable results from a background screening based on the specific position which will include, at a minimum, criminal records history.

Work will begin in early March and run through the end of September 2013. This is a full-time exempt position with limited benefits. Pay rates are based on experience.
