RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs basic apartment and related facilities maintenance in order to preserve quality and value in the apartment property.
Performs specific carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and appliance repair as needed in accordance with company standards and in conjunction with the management staff. Demonstrates knowledge in technical aspects of apartment maintenance.
Complete related paperwork and have good follow-through.
Identifies and communicates safety hazards to the Maintenance Manager. Complies with hazardous materials regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of general repairs and maintenance; some specialized technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, small appliance, air conditioning, heating, boilers, hot water heater, concrete repairs; locks. Hazardous materials compliance knowledge. Public relations; some basic clerical skills. A current, active driver's license is required.

Ability to interact effectively with residents, peers, management and vendors.
