The Engineer in this position must be capable of working in our Advanced Development, Implementation and Continuous Improvement teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and experienced hands-on Engineer who enjoys working with a cross functional team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person will work on various projects simultaneously while always providing their best engineering and problem solving skills to the teams.

The ideal candidate will be: passionate about tools and/or an outdoors lifestyle, quickly learn the mechanical interactions of our existing products, become familiar with our manufacturing processes and apply creativity to develop new products, optimize designs for performance, quality, manufacturability and cost. The person in this position must have strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to support their decisions and must also be able to make sound decisions when limited time or information is available. The candidate must also have a willingness and capability to develop their leadership skills and grow their career at Leatherman.
