Geoscience Recruitment Consultant - EJL/WS/1003

Open to: EU National or UK Work Permit Holders

Salary: A highly competitive Base salary of £18K-£22K per annum dependant on skills and experience plus an attractive commission scheme providing an OTE (on target earnings) of £30K-£40K.

Job Overview: Working Smart seeks a Junior Geoscience Recruiter to support growth in a highly dynamic market place. We have established an impressive portfolio of global oil and related service clients. Ideally you will be a graduate with an earth science or engineering related degree and a desire to use your academic knowledge in a practical way supporting clients in attracting and securing staff. You will be trained in all aspects of recruitment and mentored and supported in your role. A diverse role offering a great deal of autonomy and scope for an ambitious individual to succeed. You will be responsible for managing your client relationships and your job assignments. We have invested heavily in customised technologies that streamline the recruitment process, so the workload is not onerous. An exciting opportunity for an individual with the personality and drive to make a successful impact in an established leading oil and gas recruitment company. With a good commission plan, there is immense opportunity to achieve high earnings in an optimistic marketplace. The Company office is situated 3 minutes walk from Woking mainline station and it is just 23 minutes to central London. Preferences: Degree educated preferred. Earth science or Engineering related degree highly advantageous. Other degrees considered. Keen desire to pursue a long-term career in recruitment for the oil and gas industry essential. Knowledge of, or some experience working in the oil and gas industry highly advantageous but not essential. A dynamic, ambitious individual who is looking to make an impact, successful work job assignment and reap the commission benefits. Good project management skills – must be able to manage multiple job assignments simultaneously in a professional manner. Strong interpersonal skills - with the ability to develop good working relationships with clients essential. Good networking skills essential. Team player – proven ability to work with all levels within the company to accomplish goals and to support growth plans. Enthusiasm and drive to keep abreast of new trends and technologies in your relevant sector. High computer literacy essential.
