This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Oil and Gas operator. As Completions Superintendent you will be responsible for the execution of the abandonment and completion operations for the re-development of oilfield in Offshore West Africa. The operations will be from 2 wellhead towers, and includes down-hole sand control, gas lift and acid stimulation.

The project work programme will including pulling the existing completion, installing OHGP and upper completion, working to depths of around 400ft.

Key duties in the role will include:
Overall management of day to day abandonment and completion activities. Overseeing daily completion activities and providing technical leadership to offshore Completion Supervisors.
Ensuring that all offshore completion activities are executed in accordance with company and legislative requirements including SHE.
Ensuring that completion vendor assessments are carried out as outlined in the policies and procedures.
Reviewing drilling programmes to ensure integration with the completion programme.
Working together with the Completion Engineer to execute and achieve the well completion objectives.
Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the programme, and where changes are required ensure correct use of company's management of change approval system.
Participation in the selection and auditing of suppliers and vendors ensuring material and equipment supplied is to the satisfaction of the Company and to the specification ordered to meet operational requirements.
Ensuring that Combined or Simultaneous Operations Plans are in place as applicable including co-ordinating and liaising with Production Operations for Completion concurrent activities.
Responsible for performance and competence evaluations of Completion Supervisors.
Monitors and reviews SHE performance and implementation of action plans.
Liaising with third party contractors/service providers to ensure SHE compliance with company requirements and interface management documents.
Responsible for, along with the DMC, all onshore completion equipment preparation and logistics

You will have previous experience of Barge and Subsea Completions, as well as Sand Control Completions.
A valid IWCF Drilling certificate is required. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work in remote locations.
