CAD Draughtsperson

Matchtech are looking for a Mechanical Draughtsperson with Inventor experience to join an expanding oil and gas company in Kent.

Overall Task

To provide project design and general drawing capability while ensuring that the agreed assignments are performed to the required standards. The company promotes and encourages a culture of continuous improvement, and expects all staff to actively participate.

Key Responsibilities
Provide tender, approval and manufacturing drawings using both Autodesk Inventor™ 3D and AutoCAD™ 2D CAD systems for projects, products and sales as requested by the Senior Design coordinator.

Provide electrical interconnection design and wiring schematics.

Produce detailed and accurate 3D models of process systems and components.

Use SAP to check/update BOM's and produce drawing parts lists.

Maintain CAD files using Autodesk Vault™.

Maintain full and accurate drawing revision history.

Adhere to Company/Corporate draughting standards, procedures and records.

Work with manufacturing personnel to optimise designs and liaise with other departments as required, ensuring smooth continuation of work progress.

Assist in the development of standard design solutions for project and product working with Mechanical Design and Production.
