2nd Line IT Support Technician Basingstoke £18-22k

Our Basingstoke based client provide innovative business databases and software to clients around the world. They've got a fun, friendly and hard working IT support team and need to add a 2nd Line IT Support Technician to the team at their new and modern offices.

What you'll be doing!...

Logging and resolving customer's IT issues, both over the phone and by e-mail Investigating software and associated applications related to products (Such as Microsoft Office and Sage) Helping to test new software through the whole product life cycle Learning new technologies such as CSLA Framework, C#, .Net, Win & Web Form & WCF Having exposure (Face to face onsite and sometimes on client sites) with clients

What you need for this position!...

Experience in an IT or software company using Windows client applications, latest Windows operating systems/servers and ideally terminal servers/Citrix as well. Experience in MS SQL with Visual Foxpro would be beneficial, as would an understanding of Sage Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (including telephone manner). Must live within a commutable distance to the Basingstoke head office.
