A major player in the global oil and gas industry is looking to recruit a Subsea Engineer to join their offices in Aberdeen. As Subsea Engineer, you'll work on a variety of services and projects within the Subsea engineering field.

Job Knowledge & Accountabilities, as a Subsea Engineer you'll:
oCarry out detail calculations (Pressure Vessel etc) to prove integrity of components
oCreate / Review technical documentation - Design specifications, Reports, Test Procedures
oRoot Cause Analysis
oDesign for Manufacture
oKnowledge of engineering standards (API 6A, API 14A, ISO 13628-7) and practices
oCompetent in reviewing 2D & 3D drawings for manufacture

You'll:

As a Subsea Engineer you'll ideally be educated to a degree level within a Subsea Engineering discipline or you'll have similar, relevant experience. You'll have experience of Subsea or Downhole engineering and landing string / Xmas Tree knowledge is preferable. Ideally you'll also have design experience and will be able to use AutoCad, Inventor and MathCad.
