Location: Grimsby

Our client is a leading manufacturer of chemical. They have an opportunity for an Engineering Manager to the company based in the neighbourhood of Grimsby. The role of the Engineering Manager is a complete technical service (Asset Management and projects) to deliver to our client's operations. You will get advice and support from engineering on other sites as required and make the Site Manager group rather than as indicated. Monitoring the named Engineering Manager will be directly on all engineering personnel.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:.

The named Engineering Manager will have overall authority for monitoring income and capital expenditures within the agreed budget. Responsible for advising the selection must identify training and development, appraisals, motivation and career development and disciplinary Affairs engineering staff.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE.

A relevant engineering degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years relevant operational experience. Proven track record in asset management in the process industry. Large hazard (COMAH) site experienced an advantage.

Chartered Engineer Status preferred.

Salary £ 60,000 a year + benefits, including:
* Bonus Scheme-based on the profitability of the company in the year, to pay the following March, but is not guaranteed.
* Pension scheme-this is calculated on pensionable salary (annual base salary less lower result limit)-as worker contributes 3%, company carries 5%; If employee contributes 4%, wears company 7%. We also offer a salary sacrifice option, and the company will make their contributions to 5.4% and 7.5% increase if this option is taken.
* PMI-our current provider BUPA individual, couple or family, and we offer membership. The company pays two thirds of the costs, with the employee paying the remaining third through monthly payroll. This is currently £ 25.76 per month (for family membership). This is a taxable benefit and would be stated on the P11d at year end.
* 25 days holiday plus statutory

* She bonus (not guaranteed)-up to £ 170 per year
