We're growing and we're looking for an experienced QA Lead. Join a team that's deploying computer vision, image recognition, and augmented reality applications to drive process improvements. The QA Lead will be responsible for designing test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements. This position is for a technically inclined individual who thrives in a fast paced environment performing quality assurance testing, developing manual tests and/or automated scripts, and reporting product defects that ultimately improve quality and client satisfaction. Individual must possess a strong willingness to be responsible for hands-on Quality Assurance of the company's product line, including mobile, desktop and web platforms.

Primary Duties:

? Work closely with product designers, developers and DBAs at all stages of SLDC to promote quality
? Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
? Work closely with Project Manager and developers to understand the product roadmap and product specifications to help determine optimum test strategies
? Communicates effectively with management as key point of contact for all aspects of Quality Assurance
? Produces superbly well-written, detailed and reproducible bug reports with clearly outlined steps to reproduce
? Takes ownership on all reported issues in our issue tracker (JIRA) and supervises their progress until resolved
? Develops and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
? Executes regression, smoke, cross-browser, cross-platform, black box, and other testing methods to ensure quality for current and legacy applications
? Anticipates and validates that management, client and user expectations are met for all products
? Researches, documents, assesses, and facilitates resolution of software defects
? Responsible for establishing testing milestones and providing input into project plans
? Responsible for reviewing application requirements and project documentation and asking follow-up questions as needed in order to gain a full understanding of requirements
? Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on all tests cases, plans or other QA materials in SharePoint

Secondary Duties:
? May lead a small QA team, including providing direction and mentoring to junior QA team members
? Manages and coordinates with 3rd party testing houses
? Ensures testing team is following best practices and methodologies
? Develops and maintains automated test scripts where appropriate

Requisite Attributes:
? Impeccable written and oral communication skills
? Outstanding attention to detail
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Expert manual testing skills
? Strong understanding of software engineering and web development
? Ability to anticipate the end user's actions to develop tests cases for previously undiscovered scenarios
? Ability to identify and resolve issues independently in a rapidly changing environment, at times taking initiatives in ambiguous circumstances
? Ability to work independently and with little direction

Requisite Experience:
? 5+ years' experience establishing and leading quality assurance testing efforts, including system, integration, black box, regression and performance testing
? 5+ years' experience leading software testing activities
? 3+ years' experience developing quality assurance plans
? Track record of successfully leading multiple, simultaneous small and large scale QA projects
? Experienced using and managing an issue tracker
