Receptionist/File Clerk (Century City)

Seeking experienced Receptionist/File Clerk - Must have at least one year RECENT Receptionist/File Clerk experience in a law firm. Ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to manage his/her workload with minimal supervision, follows instructions, has file room/docketing experience, and is familiar with legal terminology. We are a small firm, therefore a team player is an absolute must.

Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume, cover letter and writing sample for consideration. In your submission, please indicate your law firm experience, software knowledge base, typing words per minute and salary history. Candidates called in for interviews will be tested on their administrative skills.

Excellent writing and organizational skills;
Superior grammar and spelling skills, including, but not limited to knowledge of the proper English grammar rules and proper business/legal letter writing etiquette;
Excellent phone demeanor;
Experience utilizing forms and sample documents to produce accurate work product;
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Professional. Must have some experience with billing and case management software;
Great attention to detail and be able to follow instructions with or without direct supervision;
Type 70+ WPM;
College degree preferred; and
Must be able to work immediately.
