FOOD PREP ASSISTANT
Do you love to help prepare great-tasting and nutritious food? Then Food Prep Assistant is the position for you! From preparing our delicious salsas to marinating chicken, you will learn to prepare food that you can be proud of. Our food is healthful and prepared fresh daily. Other duties may include keeping guests satisfied with a clean dining room and a well-stocked salsa bar.
CASHIER
Do you love to smile and provide great customer service? Then Cashier is the position for you! As a Cashier you will provide friendly and courteous service by greeting each guest with a smile and making them feel welcome. You may be asked to run the drive-thru station and work with a team to deliver fast and efficient service. Either way, your job will be to ensure great guest service 100% of the time!
COOK
Preparing "perfect pollo" doesn't just happen by accident. It takes a dedicated cook who is dependable and eager to learn. If that's you, then we'll provide solid training to help you succeed! Our cooks provide fresh, great-tasting chicken throughout the day. This is a job you can take pride in! After all, "perfect pollo" means El Pollo Loco chicken is done just right!
?Opening and/or closing the restaurant
?Guiding and mentoring crew members
?Creating and ensuring superior guest experiences
?Ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality and cleanliness standards
?Contributing to the achievement of cost and profit goals
?High school diploma or equivalent
?Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (second language a plus)
?Basic math and computer skills
?A current driver's license and use of a personal car
?One or more years of experience in the hospitality industry
?A food handler card where applicable
