Our company is looking for an experienced Structural Steel Production Manager. Our company is a stable and growing fabrication company who strives for success and offers an opportunity to thrive within the company.

Requirements:

Must have 7 years experience leading a structural steel fabrication plant.
Oversee the full production of 50+ employee steel fabrication plant.
In depth knowledge in AWS, ASTM Standards and previous AISC requirements experience.
Strong scheduling and understanding of the production flow.
Coordinate and supervise multiple simultaneous projects and deliver them on time and within budget.
Managing the daily schedule to guarantee each assembly is made per specification and ships on time.
Strong understanding of the operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment and welding processes.
Communicating with senior management, providing daily updates on the status of projects on the floor.
Ability to accurately forecast labor requirements during peak or slow seasons.
Staying current with new technology and methods by staying up with leading edge technology.
Improving the production flow by leading the evolution from manual sheets to an MRP System.
Stru-M.I.S or Fabtrol computerized production tracking and scheduling is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to motivate team members and develop skills.
Clean DMV Record.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
