GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS: The successful candidate will have suerior technical and organizational skills to handle a wide rnge of Legal Secretarial and Executive support related tasks with little supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have a minimum of 10 years' stable experience working in a small to mid-size business law firm. Heavy corporate/transaction knowledge is mandatory. (Civil litigation experience does not substitute for business/corporate know-how.) Have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure with a sense of urgency and remain flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

* In general, approximately 50% of the responsibilities are legal including the need for familiarity with complex document preparation, drafting simple letters to clients and government agencies, corporate minutes preparation and entity formations.

* Sometimes approximately 50% of the responsibilities are administrative including overseeing firm insurance coverages, preparation of monthly client billings, handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as well as tracking attorney's investments and other personal matters.

* Excellent analytical skills, high level of accuracy and superb attention to detail coupled with strong interpersonal skills are critical to success.

* Must be exceedingly well organized and trustworthy because of the nature of the highly confidential and personal information of clients and the attorneys.

* Associates degree or higher, Bachelor's degree preferred.
