Overview:
Dealer.com is seeking an Application Programmer to join our team supporting our Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP environment and the teams that utilize it. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, this position will work with stakeholders (including Finance, Account Management, Sales, Production, and Engineering teams) to enhance and maintain mission critical business processes supported by our ERP system. This position requires a person who is passionate about solving complex business problems through enterprise class systems, integrations, and architectures.

Responsibilities:
The Application Programmer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Dynamics AX ERP environment. Working directly with ERP stakeholders this position will be required to explain system features, analyze requirements and issues, translate them into technical designs, and deliver system functionality which meets or exceeds requirements. They will be responsible for supporting all aspects of software development, integration, and configuration in our Dynamics AX environment.

This role may have access to financial and other company confidential data, and as such those working in this role must understand and comply with the Data Use, Information Security, and any other applicable company policies.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Working with users/stakeholders to define requirements and perform issue root-cause analysis
Developing and documenting technical designs, code, and unit test scripts for Dynamics AX and AIF web service enhancements and bug fixes
Triaging and resolving software bugs, data, and system configuration issues
Developing and executing system/integration test plans
Developing user guides/instructions for new and existing system functionality
Participating in the instruction of users on various system functionality

Qualifications:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering field preferred
3+ years of solid .NET development experience
2+ years of proven Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0/2009/2012 X++ /MorphX development experience
Strong SSRS and Excel spreadsheet report development skills
ERP/Billing/BSS experience in SaaS or Telco industries is a plus
Experience developing Web Services hosted on Dynamics AIF is a plus
Enterprise portal development is a plus

Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Portal and SharePoint Services
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft SQL Reporting and OLAP Services
Visual Studio
